These pieces may or may not contain the bark in-tact on the live edges. Bark on the live edges becomes brittle during the drying process and often falls off during handling and processing of these boards.

Tolerances & character:

Coffee/side tables: mount to a rigid base; allow seasonal movement with slotted fasteners
Floating shelves/mantels: use heavy-duty brackets into studs; test fit before final finish
