Each of these cutting boards is made from one solid piece of kiln-dried hardwood. There are no glued strips or glue lines, just the natural grain and color of the wood running across the entire board.
Choose from Black Walnut, Cherry, Hard Maple, or Natural Curly Maple. Because every board comes from an individual piece of lumber, no two will look exactly alike.

Why One Piece?
Most hardwood cutting boards are made by gluing multiple strips of wood together. There's nothing wrong with that construction, but we wanted to offer something simpler.
These boards are cut from a single piece of lumber, leaving the natural grain uninterrupted from one side to the other. The result is a clean, straightforward cutting board that lets the wood itself provide the pattern.
Use them for everyday prep, cutting fruits and vegetables, serving cheese and charcuterie, or simply leave one out on the counter when it's not being used.
Wood Species
Black Walnut
Naturally dark brown with lighter and darker variation throughout the grain. Walnut can also contain areas of lighter-colored sapwood.
Cherry
Warm reddish-brown tones that naturally deepen and darken with age and exposure to light.
Hard Maple
A light-colored hardwood with cream and pale tan tones and a clean, subtle grain.
Natural Curly Maple
Maple selected for its natural character and figuring. These boards can feature a mixture of light and darker coloration along with curly or shimmering grain patterns. The amount and appearance of figure will vary from board to board.
Care
Hand wash with mild soap and water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher.
Allow the board to dry completely after washing. For best results, occasionally apply food-safe mineral oil, Board Butter, or another food-safe board conditioner as the wood begins to look or feel dry.
Please Note
These are made from real, natural hardwood, so variation is expected. Grain pattern, color, sapwood, mineral streaks, and natural figuring will differ from the photos and from board to board.
Some boards may contain areas of sapwood, creating lighter-colored sections alongside the darker heartwood. This is a natural part of the lumber and is not considered a defect.
Dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly as a result of milling, sanding, and finishing.
