What to Expect
Each board will have its own natural grain and color variation.
Steaming helps create a more uniform look, but boards will not be identical. If you’re looking for closely matched pieces, feel free to reach out and we can help.
Thickness is listed as 4/4 nominal, with a finished thickness of approximately 7/8" after surfacing and sanding.
As with all real wood, slight movement can occur with changes in humidity. We recommend letting your boards acclimate before final use.

Finishing Tips
Walnut is easy to work and finishes extremely well.
For cutting boards or food-use items, a simple mineral oil or beeswax finish works great. For shelves or furniture, polyurethane or hardwax oil will give you better long-term protection.
